• Began violin studies with his father at the age of three-and-half.
• Entered the San Francisco Conservatory Preparatory Division at the age of 5 on a full-twelve year scholarship.
• Received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Oberlin Conservatory studying with Kathleen Winkler, Roland and Almita Vamos as well as Master’s Degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music where he studied with former Cleveland Quartet violinist Donald Weilerstein.
• Enjoys science fiction, technology, and spending time with his wife Sandy (also a member of the quartet), sons Adrian and Brian and their two cats, Pon and Poko.
