Began cello studies at the age of 3 playing a viola his teacher had fitted with an endpin. Joshua is very proud to be from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory and attended the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Juilliard School. In 2006, co-founded www.classicallounge.com, a networking site where you can meet other musicians and fans. Has appeared on four continents with the Miró Quartet in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls. Enjoys playing tennis and jogging and is a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
