When the Mió Quartet last performed in Tulsa, the final chord had barely stopped vibrating before the room erupted in shouts and thunderous applause. Their concerts are marked by an enthusiasm that is as infectious as it is musical. Appearing with them will be the astonishing Aeolus Quartet, mentored by the Miró, and now in residence at Juilliard. Hearing these two quartets together at the University of Tulsa’s gorgeous new Lorton Performance Center will indeed be a ‘high-octane’ performance.
